 AIS keep enhancing digital infrastructures to support potentiality of both public and private sectors in Thailand, especially intelligent 5G network and platform. AIS announces its partnership with Thailand’s Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) to establish the first 5G innovation center and laboratory, AIS 5G NEXTGen Center at Thailand Digital Valley (TDV) in Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). AIS also launches the first 5G platform in Thailand, AIS Paragon Platform. Moreover, AIS extends its 5G ecosystem with additional leading global partners namely Singtel, NCS, and Siemens. The 5G ecosystem with a concept of “AIS 5G NEXTGen for Business” aims to bring innovative solutions and services to enable and accelerate digital transformation of businesses in Thailand. Those were announced in Thailand 5G Summint 2022, an event to exhibit commitment and collaboration to strengthen national 5G ecosystem for the future.

 Mr.Tanapong Ittisakulchai, AIS Chief Enterprise Business Officer stated “AIS keeps investing digital technology infrastructure to support Thais’ well-being. Thailand Digital Valley in Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) at Sri Racha, Chonburi is one of key action plans.”

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon added “In Thailand Digital Valley, there is TDV2 building or “Digital Startup Knowledge Exchange Center” with area of 4,500 square meters. This building is designed for collaboration and exchange of digital technology and innovation, digital business networking, and residence of digital developers and Thai startups to become the largest Startup community in Thailand. depa and AIS will establish 5G NEXTGen Center in this building to enable Digital Tech cluster to test their 5G use cases with AIS 5G network and platform to enhance new digital solutions or innovative business models in the future.”
