How to select a network

  • Automatic Network Selection When you turn on your phone for the first time while abroad, your phone will automatically select the network with best signal at that moment. If you happen to be in a spot with a weak signal, your phone will automatically switch to the network with the best signal.
  • In order to use the allowance from your selected package (e.g. Non-Stop Data Roaming or Super Value Voice Roaming package), it is recommended that you manually select a network that is covered prior to your use. For information about how to manually select a network on iOS and Android, please read the instructions below.

Hassle-free-Facts

  • As service areas, additional services, promotion conditions, and packages provided by AIS are different from those of other international mobile operators, you can manually select a network that matches your needs through your phone. To learn more about how to select a network manually, consult your phone manual
  • In case you have selected a network and the selected network is unavailable in a particular location, you may temporarily gain no access to the network services. In case you have an urgent need to use a service, it is recommended you select a different network. However, in case the new network you have selected is beyond the terms and conditions of the package you have applied for, a normal roaming service charge will be incurred.
