A: The purpose of the SMS is to update our subscribers to rest assured that their data is in safe hands with AIS Group, as we comply with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562

A: AIS has updated the service terms and conditions in regards to collection, use, and disclosure of personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562, as an addition to the current Notification by NBTC (National Telecommunication Committee) regarding the Protection of Telecommunication Subscribers’ Rights in Relation to the Personal Data, Privacy Rights, and Freedom of Telecommunication.

A: Advanced Wireless Network, Co., Ltd. (AWN) has been granted the license as telecommunication business operator by NTBC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission) under the name "AIS”

A: For the Company and the subscriber, it means the rights and obligations in regards to collection, use, and disclosure of personal data to comply with the law.

A: No, the subscribers do not have to take any action. AIS has undertaken the personal data protection since the first day the subscribers agreed to use the service and accept the service terms and conditions, effective from activating the service until terminating the service.

A: They could get your personal data from any other channels, where you might have left personal data for contact when receiving services, buying products, signing up membership, as well as phishing from various channels, for example. If you do not want to be contacted, please contact the company/the shop who gives you the service directly.

A: AIS discloses the data to AWN (a subsidiary under AIS Group), business partners, dealers, and organizations or either national or international contract-binding legal entities which you have contacted for their services. The personal data is used for offering personalized products, services, or offers for your benefits and potential interests. If you do not want to be contacted for such privileges and benefits, please contact AIS for assistance.
