• When an Apple TV 4K connects to the home network, it will activate the Apple TV 4K and configure the TV provider automatically without requiring a username or password.
What is the TV Provider?
• This is Apple TV 4K’s special feature that allows you to access AIS PLAY content when the device is connected to your home network, without needing a username or password. AIS collaborates with Apple to offer the TV Provider service for the first time in Southeast Asia.
• The system will be configured as Single Signed-On (SSO) via the TV Provider menu on both iOS and tvOS.
What special privileges does AIS offer for customers who purchase the Apple TV 4K with AIS?
• Customers will receive a free 12-month PLAY Family package when purchasing the Apple TV 4K with AIS according to the stated terms and conditions, of which AIS reserves the right to change without prior notice.
• AIS Postpaid or AIS Fibre Customers will get Apple TV 4K at special price and the discount for monthly fee according to the stated terms and conditions.
How can the customers receive the free 12-month PLAY FAMILY privilege?
• AIS and non-AIS customers who purchase an Apple TV 4K from AIS are eligible to receive free PLAY Family access.
• The customers have to provide AIS with their phone number or AIS Fibre number on the date of purchase.
• The AIS Family free-view privilege is offered once per device (Registered number)
How can current Apple TV 4K owners and customers who did not purchase their Apple TV 4K from AIS get access to AIS PLAY?
• Current Apple TV 4K owners and customers who did not purchase their Apple TV 4K from AIS can download the AIS PLAY application from the App Store on Apple TV 4K by using their AIS phone number or AIS Fibre number to get access to the AIS PLAY service.
In the case of a customer purchasing their Apple TV 4K from AIS and being granted the PLAY Family free-view for 12 months, but then wanting to sell the Apple TV 4K to someone else after using it for 3 months, is the remaining PLAY family free-view privilege of 9 months still available to the customer who registered his/her phone number or AIS Fibre number?
• The free-view privilege will stay with the customer who registered the device for another 9 months
• The seller is required to contact the AIS Call Center to cancel the free-view privilege and the registered phone number or AIS Fibre number with the PLAY Family service. In the event that the seller does not cancel the service, the privilege will be transferred to the new Apple TV 4K owner.
• The new Apple TV 4K owner will not granted the free-view privilege of 12 months.
